About the weekly sale

| Decorative Arts auction in progress, auctioneer - Jenny Ankin |
RK&T’s weekly sale is probably the largest of its type in the Southern Hemisphere, if not the world. As a major source for all manner of antiques and collectables it is a Sydney institution and attracts hundreds of buyers each week.
Each two-day weekly sale comprises between 1600 and 2400 lots of decorative arts, furniture and miscellany.
BUYERS at the Weekly Sale are provided with an ever-changing eclectic collection of furniture and decorative arts ranging from fine quality pieces to items whose beauty or potential is in the eye of the beholder. Apart from being a market-place for sale and purchase, these auctions are a special form of theatre - studies in kinetic human interaction.
SELLERS have the advantage of exposure to large number of potential buyers and rapid payment - available within three days of the sale.
