Raffan Kelaher & Thomas Pty Limited is a well-established company of Fine Art and General Auctioneers & Valuers. Our auction rooms are in Leichhardt in Inner-Western Sydney.
As a Member of the Auctioneers & Valuers Association of Australia (AAVA), we adhere to the strictest ethical standards. All sale proceeds are deposited in the Company’s Trust Account and net proceeds promptly paid to vendors on completion of sales.

History
The Company was founded by Doug Raffan and Jim Kelaher in 1976, conducting weekly auctions of Antique & General Furniture and Decorative Arts. Doug Raffan retired in 1992. Phillip Thomas became joint owner in 2005. At this time the Company name became Raffan, Kelaher & Thomas. Jonathan Alford joined Phillip as partner in 2008, on Jim’s retirement from the business.
Phillip Thomas and Jonathan Alford are the Directors of RK&T and bring with them over 80 years of combined experience as Auctioneers and Valuers.
Raffan, Kelaher & Thomas is a corporate member of the Auctioneers & Valuers association of Australia. Jonathan Alford is a Member of the National Council of Jewellery Valuers and National Council of Jewellery Valuers (Fine Art).
