If you cannot attend the sale you can place an Absentee Bid before the sale begins. This is a free and confidential service.
How to place your absentee bid
Your bid must be on our official form and can be handed in at the office, or faxed so that we receive it before the start of the auction. Forms are available at the sale viewings, or you can download it (see link below).
The form tells us the maximum amount you are prepared to bid. Remember that a Buyer's Premium also applies on all lots sold - the rate is 16.5% (GST inclusive).
How we use your bid
Lots will be bought as reasonably as is allowed by other bids and any reserves, and in accordance with the terms and conditions of Auction Sale'
While we always endeavour to ensure that all absentee aids are lodged with the Auctioneer and executed, we accept no liability.
After the sale
If your bid is successful and you have provided your email address on the Absentee Bid Form, you will automatically receive a notification email and invoice from us. If not, you must contact us to find out if your bids were successful.
Items must be paid for and collected by 4pm on the day following the auction. Payment for goods is by Cash, Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa Card, or Amex – please note: a 3% administrative charge applies to payments by Amex), Direct Debit (EFTPOS) or Cheque (by prior arrangement - minimum of 1 week).

Telephone bidding
Telephone bidding may be arranged on items of significant value, subject to arrangements being made prior to the auction with the relevant department.
All telephone bids must be confirmed in writing by the bidder.
